Fellow Hunters After 40+ years of hunting, Guiding, fishing and just plain enjoying the outdoors I visited Miltonvale Kansas in the Fall of 2007, and fell in love with the property. We have been coming to North central Kansas for more than 20 years and my wife’s family lives in Miltonvale. It took some doing with the way the economy was going at purchase time, But I found a Local bank that would finance me, while I was living in Vegas. After getting laid off in Vegas it was the perfect time to relocate, even though we miss our kids and grand kids who are mainly still in Vegas. Our Eldest Son Fermin is the one who has helped me create this website, a BIG Thank you goes out to him.
My Name is Gregg Burns I was Born and raised in Wisconsin with 3 brothers. I started Hunting when I was 12 and guiding when I was 16. I have hunted and fished all over the North America for all species. My best Friend Rueben Pardell (rest His Soul) was my hunting Buddy for nearly 30 years and between him and His Uncle Johnny (a Native American Indian) I have gained a Wealth of Knowledge in Hunting and Fishing.
My parents Bought a Fishing/Hunting resort when I was 12 in Fond du Lac Wi and my adventures began here. I started Guiding people fishing and then got into hunting, we even raised Labs, Coon Dogs, Beagles and more.
This was a Great time in My Life. I could write a book of experiences for the many years of Hunting.
We used to go to Sport Shows all over the midwest and I got to know Outfitters from all over the world and even got the chance to Guide for Fishing, Bear Hunting and Moose hunting in Ontario Canada for a few seasons. That was an experience in itself, portaging, Bush Pilots, Out Posts, Great Memories.
This property was perfect for what I have been dreaming about doing for along time except for the fishing, although there is a pond on the property of which I am stocking. All the out buildings that are in good shape and some that I tore down but saved the lumber and am reusing on the cabin and more.
The property is located in North Central Kansas, approximately 60 minutes South of the Nebraska Border. 30 miles north of I-70 and 10 miles East of Hwy 81.this property is heaven!!! Timbered creek beds with varying elevations, CRP land perfect for Food Plots, and brimming with Wildlife from Big Whitetails, Turkey, Pheasant, Quail, Ducks, Coyotes, Racoons, Fox, and many more.
